What a fun way to spend a family vacation! With so much to do and see, there will surely be something for everyone to enjoy!

We hope you’ll plan at least one State Fair visit as you travel the nation in an El Monte RV. Take a spin on a Ferris wheel and join the excitement of blue ribbon winners. The New York State Fair is the oldest State Fair in the nation, beginning in 1841!
- One of the most popular food items at “Big Tex”, the Texas State Fair, is the Fried Banana Split!
- The Ohio State Fair features cheerleading, martial arts and “extreme wheelchair” competitions.
- The two-week California State Fair attracts nearly one million visitors each year!
- The official “mascot” of the Oregon State Fair is The Big (12 foot) Tomato.
- Massachusetts’ “Big E” celebration features a Mardi Gras parade and its own signature Cream Puff Bakery!
- The Illinois State Fair features some of the fastest dirt track harness racing in the world.
- The kazoo was first introduced to a large audience at the 1852 Georgia State Fair. That Fair now boasts several kazoo competitions!
